Gas Furnace Installation
With the proper professional routine maintenance, gas furnaces can last approximately 15 to 20 years. As they age, they become less efficient and more costly to run. If you notice that happening with your aging gas furnace, check with our heating and cooling team—it might be time to replace it.
We install a variety of gas furnace models and will work with you to find the best system to suit your home, lifestyle, and budget.
At Dana's Heating, we take the guesswork out of choosing a high-efficiency, quality gas furnace for your Washington home. We calculate your home’s square footage, along with the heating needs of each room, to determine the appropriate size of your needed furnace.
A correctly sized HVAC system will warm your home without wasting energy. A high-efficiency model will save money on utility bills. The higher the annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) rating your furnace has, the more money you will save.
Dual-Fuel Systems
We can even add a heat pump to your heating system to maximize efficiency. Combining a gas furnace with an electric heat pump creates a dual-fuel heating system that can help you save on utility costs.
In a dual-fuel system, your heat pump serves as the primary heating source and your furnace kicks in when the temperature outside drops too low for the pump to operate efficiently. When the temperature rises again, the heat pump takes over once more.
Our HVAC experts can install an air handler to work in tandem with your heat pump. A heat pump captures warm air from outdoors and transfers it indoors where the air handler moves it throughout your home.
If you need financing for your new furnace or dual-fuel system, talk to one of our friendly team members. We offer options to accommodate everyone—you are family to us, and we never want to leave anyone out in the cold.

FAQs
How does a furnace work?
Furnaces are often the main heat source in a home. They work by heating air within a heat exchanger, and once the air reaches a certain temperature, a blower distributes the warm air throughout your ductwork to heat your home evenly.
What is an air handler?
An air handler is the indoor unit of an indoor/outdoor HVAC system. The device circulates warmed or cooled air produced by the outdoor unit—the heat pump or air conditioning unit. Since both indoor and outdoor units work in sync to heat or cool your home, both units must be in proper working order. When an air handler's fan is properly matched with the coil or heat exchanger, you will enjoy total comfort, maximum efficiency, and extended system life.
What is an energy-efficient furnace?
Did you know the higher the AFUE rating, the more efficient the furnace runs? Using less fuel is a smart choice for not only your wallet but the environment as well. When looking at a furnace with an AFUE rating of 95 percent, keep in mind you will quickly see a return on your investment through improved comfort, healthier indoor air quality, and lower energy bills. And you help out the environment.
How can I keep my furnace running efficiently?
Along with scheduling annual maintenance with our HVAC experts, always remember to change your air filter. Regularly changing the air filter helps capture particles in the air, allowing your system to operate more efficiently.

“Scooter is our maintenance guy. He is ill. I spoke to Carl last evening to verify our mid day time. After 10. He told me Jerry would be coming after 10. Very nice conversation.
At 8 this morning Daniel knocked on the door. He insists he was told to make me the 8:00. If I didn’t want him to work at 8:00 he would be happy to reschedule my day. He was nice and polite but …
I checked on him after 15-20 minutes. He said he cleaned the filters and it would be about 10 more minutes. I asked if he was sure – no one is done in 20 minutes. He said he would check everything and needed more time. Ok. He seemed to do his job and he cleaned up after himself.
I asked him why he pulled I to the drive when notes on my account said to back in. He said he saw all the notes after he parked.
He blames the office for his 8;00 time.
He is a very young guy.
You mostly do a great job for me since 1998.
Hope Scooter recovers soon.”
“Great job by Nick. Very professional and answered all of my questions.”
“Appointment time was from 10-2
Technician shows up at 2:10 this is Wednesday the 8th
Now Friday the 10th furnace not working. Not pushing hot air. And now I need to take more time off my job so someone can come fix whatever problem that the technician left.
Extremely frustrated with this company they do not respect their customers time, and don’t care how many days they have to miss from they’re job to wait around to have them fix a problem that wasn’t there until they came to do “maintenance”.”
“Max came out to do maintenance after we thought there might be a leak. He was kind, courteous, patient, quick, professional, and had such a positive attitude. This is our third experience with Dana’s, and we will keep coming back! Your service, professionalism, and expertise are top notch. Truly a blessing. Thank you for everything you do!!”
“I called having a problem with my heater. Carl answered the phone and was so helpful! He walked me through the entire process and was so amazing! I told my husband we are only using this company from now on! Highly highly recommend very happy. Thank you so so much.”
“Wayne called 10 minutes before he arrived. Introduced himself, was professional and courteous and did my furnace maintenance as requested. There was a vibration from the front panel of the furnace and he was able to resolve that problem. I have no complaints at all.”
“Outstanding work on both our furnace! Great personality!”
