About Us:
Dana's Heating is a family owned and operated add-on and replacement HVAC contractor with a full service department.
We believe in training and utilize both in-house and outside sources to keep our employees as up to date as possible. We are also able to provide electrical classes that qualify for Washington State Electrical certifications (for both renewals and classroom hours for trainees) for our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Dana's Heating's Lead Installers are in charge of the complete installation of the system. A system might be a gas furnace, or a mini-split heat pump, it might be an oil furnace or an 18 SEER variable speed heat pump:
- The day typically starts with a briefing about the job to be done.
- Then assemble equipment, parts and pieces for the job, and load the truck.
- After that, go to the job site and perform the work in an efficient, safe manner.
- Finally, when the job is finnished, return to the shop, clean the truck and restation it for the next day.
- Our Lead Installers are also responsible for the training and progressive improvement of their helpers (apprentices).
Requirements:
- Experience performing all facets of HVAC installations.
- Own basic tools of the trade.
- Have basic understanding of ductwork and air flow.
- Ability to build sheet metal transitions.
- Ability to run refrigeration line sets.
- EPA Refrigerant handling certification.
- Have basic understanding of electrical circuits.
- Clean driving record.
Wage Range:
$26 - $40/Hour
Bonus Points:
- Washington State 06a or 06b low voltage electrical license.
- NATE certifications are highly valued.
- Understand and are comfortable with the latest technology (mini-splits, variable speed equipment, etc.).

Dana's Heating's maintenance technicians are responsible to understand the complete system from the maintenance perspective. A system might be a gas furnace or a mini-split heat pump, it might be an oil furnace or an 18 SEER variable speed heat pump.
Our technicians perform a variety of maintenance tasks to do what is best for the customer and the equipment. This may include, but not be limited to:
- Suggest proactive repairs when it might help the customer.
- Suggest enhancements to the system.
- Recommend replacement when necessary.
Our maintenance technicians are also responsible to attend training and show progressive improvement toward becoming service technicians.
Requirements:
- Clean driving record.

- $18 - $25/Hour

Phone Customer Care Representative

Taking a high volume of inbound calls, you’ll support our customers by servicing their unique needs while also offering additional products and services. Successful candidates have customer service experience, can multitask, and be able to navigate through multiple computer programs. Dana’s Heating will provide paid on the job training along with continued coaching, so you will feel confident serving our customers.

Wage
$17 - $27. /Hr.
With starting pay of $17 per hour and up – Growth in pay is determined by providing excellent customer service, learning, growing in skill level, and having a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities
- Answering high volume inbound calls from customers regarding inquiries or scheduling appointments. Prioritize calls accordingly.
- Enter, review, and update Customer accounts.
- Routing Customer calls to appropriate departments.
- Understand the skill level of the technicians, evaluate the needs of the customer and be able to match the right technician to every job for maximum results.
- Understand and use our dispatching software.
- Respond to customer requests.
- Support customer inquiries and needs by answering questions regarding services provided, rates, billing questions, and some general HVAC information.
- Contact customers throughout the day to schedule appointments and/or confirm appointments.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Answer phones in a polite and timely manner.
- Must enjoy talking to people on the phone and communicate well.
- Have basic knowledge of keyboarding computer skills.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong time management and organizational skills.
- Motivated to work independently and multi-task.
