At 8 this morning Daniel knocked on the door. He insists he was told to make me the 8:00. If I didn’t want him to work at 8:00 he would be happy to reschedule my day. He was nice and polite but …
I checked on him after 15-20 minutes. He said he cleaned the filters and it would be about 10 more minutes. I asked if he was sure – no one is done in 20 minutes. He said he would check everything and needed more time. Ok. He seemed to do his job and he cleaned up after himself.
I asked him why he pulled I to the drive when notes on my account said to back in. He said he saw all the notes after he parked.
He blames the office for his 8;00 time.
He is a very young guy.
You mostly do a great job for me since 1998.
Hope Scooter recovers soon.”

Now Friday the 10th furnace not working. Not pushing hot air. And now I need to take more time off my job so someone can come fix whatever problem that the technician left.
Extremely frustrated with this company they do not respect their customers time, and don’t care how many days they have to miss from they’re job to wait around to have them fix a problem that wasn’t there until they came to do “maintenance”.”

Dana's installed a heat pump system for me recently. The actual install went exceptionally well and the install team was top-notch professional in all respects. A number of on-site adaptions and decisions were required based on my existing furnace location and house design. The install team kept me well informed of the issues and when a decision was required on my part, it was very clear what the decision was and the impact of each one. I cannot say enough good about the install team. The business side of the house however was lacking in a few areas. (1) Company uses Wells Fargo for financing… a nationally noted bank that has business ethic issues, questionable customer service and reputation at best. I consider any business using them to be reflected in the same light. This almost caused me to go elsewhere for the install. Only because I had the entire cost on hand did I decide to go ahead with it. (2) No on-site inspection by actual install team member. This would have made things smoother. Salesperson knows the big picture and told me of a some obvious modifications to furnace that would have to be made, but the install team got a few surprises they should really have known about before hand. Not having an pre-install look by an actual installer is a poor practice in my opinion. (3) No final, clear, itemized invoice. An invoice was provided but did not breakdown unit costs. This is more a detail I suppose but important to me. If there were half-star options I would have given them 3.5 stars, driven almost entirely by their use of Wells Fargo in financing. Other than that… I highly recommend that they have an actual installer look at a job site before the scheduled install date. I cannot praise highly enough the professionalism, work quality and care taken by all of the installation team members.

“Troubleshot the locked motor and found low pressure in the system. Ruled out leaking (refrigerant) somewhere in the piping. A leak detector test equipment was used. Could not locate the problem. Injected Freon and dye in the system to pinpoint the location of leak. Will check back with the tech.
Useless detector? And I had to pay extra to find where the leak is located in few months.”

“I live near Manchester which has internet problems on a sometimes daily basis. Recently internet service was cut for the entire area. Our 1050 lost contact with the router and two errors were noted on the Network Status. The problem was not serious and the system still functioned. The home I’m in had some major remodeling done and I noticed my furnace filter was getting very dirty faster than I had hoped, and it’s a big expensive filter at that. Joaquin put a smaller, 1” filter behind the large return vent to capture more dust and debris, there wasn’t one there before. He also rotated the return grate so that the vents face upward instead of down so now we don’t see into the duct (it’s up high on the wall). Now I need to get that large 4” dirty filter replaced! “I have been working on this 1970 house for the past 7 years. Much work had been done in preparation for the installation of a new electric air handler and heat pump (replacing an oil furnace). I knew that I wanted an American Standard system and one installed by Dana’s due to the reputation and reputed quality of each. I was not disappointed. I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail of the installation. Dustin led his crew well and directed his apprentices how to best accomplish their tasks and have pride in the job they were doing. The finished installation of the air handler, as well as the refrigeration lines, was beautifully done and Dustin’s sheet metal work was as good as any Boeing product. Dakota and Mike also did an excellent job at laying out the electric lines, inside and out. The end product were electric lines which were both efficient in there use of space and pleasing in appearance to the eye. I am writing this review after five days of use of my new American Standard system and I am very pleased with its performance, quietness, and so far, relatively low consumption of kilowatts.
